In the N-B-A… the Cavaliers came from 16 points down in the fourth quarter to beat the Pistons 97-96. Dion Walters’ jump shot from the baseline as time expired completed the comeback. It’s the 11th time this season that Detroit has lead at the end of the third quarter… and lost. The Pistons have dropped 17 of their last 20 games… and entertain the Heat tomorrow night.

There’s a report that the Pistons will be beefing up their minor-league system. Currently, Detroit assigns Development League players to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants… which also uses players from several other N-B-A teams. The report says a group of investors plans to purchase the Springfield Armor D-League team… move it from Massachusetts to Grand Rapids… and affiliate it exclusively with the Pistons. None of that has been officially confirmed.

Our coverage of the NCAA basketball tournament resumes this evening on AM 1400, WCCY.
