Morning Sports for Tuesday, May 13th:

MLB: Norris Plunks Hunter; Tigers Plunk Orioles
Rick Porcello earned his sixth win of the season, as the Tigers beat the Orioles 4-1 Monday night. Porcello scattered five hits over six innings. His only real challenge came in the second… when he gave up a run, but stranded two runners. Detroit scored a pair in the fourth… and Ian Kinsler added a two-run homer in the eighth. That blast irritated Baltimore starter Bud Norris… who was ejected moments later after hitting Torii Hunter in the ribs with a pitch. The Tigers continue that series at Baltimore tonight. Drew Smyly will face Ubaldo Jimenez. Hear the first pitch at 7:05 on AM 1400, WCCY.

Anibal Sanchez threw four innings of a simulated game yesterday, and seems to be on track to returning to the Tigers’ rotation Sunday night. Team officials say the skin has regrown on the finger where a blister was torn off two weeks ago.

Brewers Prep for Pirates
The Brewers had yesterday off… and host the Pirates tonight. Marco Estrada will pitch against Gerrit Cole.
