MTU Hockey Ranked Fifth
The Michigan Tech hockey team is ranked fifth in the nation in both the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls this week. The Huskies dropped one position after falling to Minnesota State in the WCHA championship game Saturday. Minnesota State moved up to first place in both polls. The Huskies will open the NCAA tournament Friday against Saint Cloud State in Fargo.

NHL – Red Wings Host Coyotes
The Detroit Red Wings host the Coyotes tonight. Face-off is at 7:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.

NBA – Pistons Visit Raptors
The Detroit Pistons play at Toronto this evening.

The Tigers had yesterday off, and face the Yankees tonight. Anibal Sanchez will start.

Tyler Thornburg gave up one run over four innings, but the Brewers lost to the Rockies 5-1 yesterday. The Brewers will play the Diamondbacks this evening.
