MTU Soccer Picked to Finish 2nd in GLIAC; NMU 6th

MTU Huskies LogoThe Michigan Tech soccer team has been picked to finish second in the Great Lakes Athletic Conference in the preseason coaches’ poll released today. The Huskies collected 123 points, and three first-place votes. Defending national champion Grand Valley State received 141 points, and 10 first-place votes. Ohio Dominican, Ferris State, and Ashland rounded out the top five. Northern Michigan was picked to finish sixth, with Saginaw Valley State, Northwood, Findlay and Walsh filling out the top-10. Tiffin, Lake Erie and Malone finished the poll.
