Bryan Anderson’s grand slam helped the Miami Marlins sink the Milwaukee Brewers 8-3 last night. The third-inning blow spoiled the much-awaited return of Jimmy Nelson, who made his first major league start after nearly 22 months rehabbing a shoulder injury. Nelson gave up five runs over three innings. Yasmani Grandal homered for Milwaukee.

The Brewers entertain the Marlins again this afternoon. Freddy Peralta will pitch against Caleb Smith.
