The Finlandia University women’s hockey team dropped a narrow 3-2 decision to Wisconsin-Superior yesterday. Natasha Kern scored twice, and Sarah Gundry stopped 46 shots in goal.

The Detroit Red Wings visit the Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow night. Faceoff is at 8:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.


In a game that was delayed 24 hours because of an ice storm, the Detroit Pistons outlasted the Portland Trail Blazers 125-124 in double overtime last night. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s three-pointer with nine seconds remaining was the game-winner. Reggie Jackson led Detroit with 31 points. The Pistons play at Golden State tomorrow night. The Green Bay Packers opened the NFL playoffs by routing the New York Giants 38-13 yesterday. Aaron Rodgers threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns. The Packers will play at Dallas Sunday afternoon at 4:40. Hear all the NFL playoff games on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
