– Calumet visits Chassell.
– Jeffers tips off at Lake Linden-Hubbell.
– L’Anse travels to Ontonagon.
– Ewen-Trout Creek entertains Republic-Michigamme.
– Baraga plays at Dollar Bay-Tamarack City in a game that was rescheduled from December 5th.

In tonight’s only local boys game, Baraga hosts Wakefield-Marenisco.

Finlandia
The Finlandia University women’s hockey team settled for a split in their two-game series at Northland with a 6-1 loss yesterday.

NMU
Both Northern Michigan University basketball teams will make up Thursday’s missed games at Davenport University this afternoon in Grand Rapids.

NBA
Former Piston Spencer Dinwiddie’s jump shot with one second remaining lifted the Brooklyn Nets to a 101-100 victory over Detroit yesterday afternoon. The Pistons had overcome a 15-point deficit to give themselves a chance to win. Tobias Harris led Detroit with 20 points. The Pistons entertain the Utah Jazz Wednesday night. Tip-off is at 7:00 on 99.3 The Lift.

NHL
The Detroit Red Wings skate at New Jersey tonight. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:40 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Wings have called defenseman Joe Hicketts up from Grand Rapids. He’ll fill in for Trevor Daley, who was hurt in Saturday’s loss to the Hurricanes.

NFL
The New England Patriots will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. The Patriots scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to edge the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 in the AFC title game yesterday. The Eagles routed the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in the NFC championship match. The Super Bowl will be played February 4th. Hear the broadcast on 99.3 The Lift.
