Adam Eaton’s RBI single in the bottom of the ninth gave the Chicago White Sox a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers yesterday, as the two teams completed the game that had been suspended because of rain Saturday night. Detroit had tied the score at three per team in the eighth inning Saturday. The contest resumed yesterday in the ninth. After Detroit failed to score in the top of the inning, former Tiger Avisail Garcia led off the bottom of the inning with a single off Justin Wilson. He stole second, advanced to third on a groundout, and came home on Eaton’s base hit.
