The Tigers and Brewers are both off until Friday, as the All-Star break continues.

In last night’s Classic, former Tiger Prince Fielder singled home the winning run, as the American League defeated the National League 6-3. Fielder’s fifth-inning hit made a winner of Tigers’ pitcher David Price, who needed just 11 pitches to retire the National League in the bottom of the fourth. As for the other Tigers, Jose Iglesias was hitless in two plate appearances, but made a nifty defensive play in the eighth inning. J.D. Martinez grounded out in his only at-bat. Francisco Rodriguez of the Brewers gave up two runs in the seventh inning. Ryan Braun tripled and scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
