Drew Hutchison tossed four scoreless innings, but left as Minnesota plated two runs in the fifth to tie the game. Javier Báez scored the game-winner in the sixth, when Harold Castro reached first base on an error.

The Tigers host the Twins again today. Joey Wentz will start against Simeon Woods Richardson. Because of Lions football, there will be no Tigers broadcast.

All indications are that Miguel Cabrera will return for a final season with the Tigers next summer. Cabrera has one year worth $32 million remaining on his contract. Cabrera had said a few weeks ago that he intended to return. Yesterday, Tigers’ officials confirmed that they expect him back.

The Marlins scored twice in the top of the ninth, and edged the Brewers 4-3 Saturday. Devin Williams took the loss. Christian Yelich homered.

The Brewers entertain the Marlins again today. Freddy Peralta will pitch against Pablo Lopez.

The Phillies split a doubleheader, so Milwaukee officially trails Philadelphia by a game in the race for the final National League Wild Card playoff berth. However, since the Phillies own the tiebreaker against the Brewers, Milwaukee is functionally two games back, with four games remaining in the regular season.
