Both Michigan Tech basketball teams host Findlay tonight. The men’s team is trying to get back on track after two losses last weekend. The women are unbeaten, as they prepare to face an opponent that coach Kim Cameron says approaches hoops as if it were hockey, often subbing five players at a time. The women’s game starts at 5:30, and the men’s game at 7:30, at the SDC.

NHL – Red Wings Fall in Shootout
Red Wings LogoThe Red Wings suffered a 2-1 shootout loss to the Maple Leafs last night. James Reimer made his first start for Toronto in a month, and stopped 41 Detroit shots. The Wings are winless in four shootout games this season. They host the Panthers tomorrow night. Faceoff is at 7:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.

NBA – Pistons
The Pistons play at Phoenix tomorrow night. Jodie Meeks may make his first appearance of the season. Meeks was signed as a free agent over the summer, but has missed the entire season because of a back injury. He was cleared to resume basketball activities yesterday.

The Lions will finish the season without tight end Joseph Fauria. He’s been bothered by a bad ankle much of the season, and reinjured it Sunday against the Buccaneers. Running back Reggie Bush sat out yesterday’s practice. He’s also been nursing a bad ankle for more than a month. The Lions face the Vikings in a late-afternoon game on Sunday.
