Detroit built a 5-2 lead, but Chicago tied the game in the seventh with three runs off Victor Alcántara, Daniel Stumpf and José Cisnero. Each team scored in the 10th inning. José Abreu’s three run homer off Nick Ramirez in the bottom of the 12th was the game-winner.

The Milwaukee Brewers got only four hits in a 3-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds last night. The offensive power failure wasted a good start by Jhoulys Chacín, who gave up just two runs over six innings.
The Brewers will play at Cincinnati again this afternoon. Brandon Woodruff will pitch against Luis Castillo.
It’s not quite déjà vu. The Detroit Pistons have signed free agent forward Markieff Morris to a two-year contract. Morris split time between the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder last season, averaging nine points and five rebounds per game. Markeiff’s twin brother, Marcus, played for Detroit in the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Former Pistons center Boban Marjanovic has signed a free agent deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
