Triston McKenzie will counter for Cleveland. Coverage will begin at 12:50 on 99.3 The Lift.

Brett Anderson pitched into the fourth inning, and was charged with six runs on eight hits. Justin Topa was torched for five runs in the sixth. Infielder Jace Peterson pitched the seventh, and gave up two runs on three hits. Kolton Wong and Tyrone Taylor homered for Milwaukee.

The Crew rebounded with a 6-0 victory in the nightcap. Aaron Ashby tossed four scoreless innings. Rowdy Tellez and Avisaíl García hit home runs.

The Brewers conclude that set at Pittsburgh this afternoon. Eric Lauer will start against Dillon Peters.

The Green Bay Packers kicked off their exhibition schedule with a 26-7 loss to the Houston Texans last night. Aaron Rodgers was one of 30 Packers who did not suit up for the game. Jordan Love started at quarterback, and completed 12 of 17 passes for 122 yards. Green Bay was held to 49 yards rushing.

The Detroit Red Wings have signed the man they believe will be their goaltender of the future. Detroit took Sebastian Cossa with the 15th pick in the recent entry draft. He’s agreed to a three-year rookie contract.
