MLB – Tigers Clobbered, Brewers Win
The Kansas City Royals ripped Randy Wolf for eight runs, and blasted the Detroit Tigers 12-1 last night. Wolf gave up eight hits, including two home runs, before leaving with two out in the fourth inning. Guido Knudsen replaced him, and immediately gave up a three-run homer. He surrendered another home run as the Royals added three more runs in the fifth inning. Full details are here.

The Tigers wrap up that series at Kansas City tonight. Matt Boyd will start against Edinson Volquez. Hear the first pitch at 8:10 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-4 last night. The Crew jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but former teammate Aramis Ramirez tied the game in the top of the third inning with a three-run homer off first-time Milwaukee starter Zach Davies. The Brewers responded with two runs in the bottom of the fourth, and were never headed after that. Full details are here.

The Brewers host the Pirates once more tonight. Taylor Jungmann will pitch against Francisco Liriano.
